Meet Dr Brewka

 
Dr. Robert (Bob) Brewka founder of Littleton Orthodontics, is an orthodontist in Littleton, Colorado who specializes in providing quality orthodontic care for children and adults.
 
 He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.  Only 10-15% of orthodontists achieve this status.  Dr. Brewka is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he attended The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, where he received his dental degree in 1969.  Dr. Brewka then received his master's degree in orthodontics from Washington University, School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis. He opened his orthodontic practice in Littleton, Colorado in 1971 and an Invisalign / Damon/ TenBrook Passive Self-ligating bracket practice  in Cherry Creek North, Denver Colorado in 2002. 
 
Dr. Brewka is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a fellow of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics.  He is past chairman of the Foundation for Orthodontic Research, a worldwide organization for the advancement of orthodontic procedures and early bio-progressive treatment.  In addition, Dr. Brewka was a member of the first graduating class of the Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education (F.A.C.E.), specializing in TMJ and Occlusion.             

              

Treatment Philosophies:

 

Early Treatment:  Prevent more complicated orthodontic treatment later.

Non-extraction of permanent teeth:  Full mouth smiles and well-developed facial profiles throughout the patient's life.  Balanced and correct bites:  Prevent TMJ and other jaw joint problems.

Innovative:  Studying and using the latest technologies in the field from "smart wires" and more comfortable Damon - TenBrook self-ligating brackets to Invisalign, the invisible braces.

 

Distinctions:

 

Dr. Brewka has received numerous awards from dental and orthodontic associations. He has also authored many scientific articles dealing with early interceptive prevention, TMJ treatment, office team building as well as office designing. He has lectured internationally and is recognized as a leader in both early and preventative orthodontics.  Dr. Brewka served many years as consultant for the Children's Hospital Cleft Palate Team. Dr. Brewka is a member of the Align Technology Company's Invisalign Alpha Advisory Group and lectures on Clear Aligner Therapy to orthodontic societies world-wide. Dr. Brewka received the Century Award for 3 years as one of the Top Invisalign Orthodontists in the world. Dr. Brewka currently lectures internationally for OrthoClassic on the TenBrook Self-Ligating System.  Dr. Brewka has been the orthodontist of choice for families of dentists, physicians and even other orthodontists.
